Anne Marleen Olthof (academic researcher & classical singer) is a PhD-researcher at the University of Amsterdam and University of Antwerp, and received a scholarship from the Dutch Research Council. Anne Marleen studies how to design with the body at the intersection of artistic and academic research. She regularly cooperates with disability artists and performers, musicians, and dancers of diverse abilities to examine alternative paradigms for human-computer integration.
Artistic Practice 🪡✂️
Outside of academia, Anne Marleen is vocationally trained in opera singing by qualified soloist Annelies Prins, and she practices physiological voice training through the Lichtenberger method. Weekly, she dances in integrated dance classes at Holland Dance Danceable, and online Isadora Duncan exploration classes. She regularly takes part in masterclasses, summerschools and intensives to further pursuit her presence, skills and artistry in singing, dancing and performing.

Anne Marleen is of Dutch origin and received her academic education at Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. Anne Marleen Olthof has taught at University of Amsterdam, Delft University of Technology, and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands. Anne Marleen is a guest lecturer at Fachhochschule Kufstein, Austria, and has been part of a European accreditation team at the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, AQ Austria.
